Gears of war triple pack first game reading errors?
In the Gears of War triple pack my Xbox will read the Gears of War 2 disk but not the Gears of War 1 disk. It just says "Reading" for a few seconds then instead of showing the game it goes back to saying "Open Tray." Has anyone else experienced this problem? (I have the Kinect 360)
That's most likely a sign of a defect of the disk, especially if the Xbox is operating all other disks just fine.
If you have your receipt go to where you bought it from and exchange it for an identical product. That's your best solution.
If that's not an option (you got it from a friend, a gift, you don't know where to return it to, etc), you can -try- using some of the disk cleaning solution they sell at game stores and/or wiping the disk surface (top and bottom) with a fine cloth (the kind you'd use for eyeglasses) and see if you can clean the disk surface to get better results.
Lastly you can see if it works in anyone elses Xbox, if it does, then that's a sign your Xbox is the problem, and if that's the case you'll need to send it in to get repaired. Pray that isn't the problem because it's a pain in the butt if it is.
