tae kwon do chest protector?
for those who train tae kwon do, what type of chest protector do u prefer and why , the one that is reversbile, (the one that has both colors) or the ones that only have one color.(they sell 2 sets the one with the blue and the other one with the red)
I prefer a reversible chest protector (hogu). It costs less, is less equipment to lug around, takes up less storage space, less stuff to wash, etc. During a tournament you may have to change colors after your first match, it's a lot easier to take off and re-tie the hogu you're wearing than have to run off and find the other one. That stress and delay would be bothersome.
I don't know why anyone would want to buy, carry, store and wash 2 hogus when they only need one.
