How to play Speed?? It's a card game where you smack hands?
I remember playing a game that in highschool we called SPEED you had to set up the deck a certain way and you would call out the cards ace, 1,2,3, and ect. while doing that you would flip the cards and if the card that was fliped a 3 and the 3 was called then you had to be fast and touch the card the last person to smack it would i think keep the cards. I dont remember much about the game!! I want to play it if you know please write.
"Speed, is a card game for two players in which the aim is to get rid of your hand as fast as possible. The players do not take turns - physical speed and alertness are required to play faster than your opponent.
Players and cards
Two players only, sitting facing each other, using a regular deck of 52 playing cards. Older decks are ideal because the cards may become damaged in play. Shuffle well and divide the cards equally - 26 to each player.
The Layout
The players take the top card off of their decks and place them parallel in the middle of the table face down, these are known as the table cards. They players then take the top five cards off of their deck, this is the hand. The players may then arrange the cards, ideally in numerical order.
The Play
When both players are ready the flip the cards in the middle and place them where they were face up. The players then try to get rid of their hands by placing cards of the face up cards. You can only place a card that is 1 more or 1 less in numerical value on the face up card, for example: if a 5 and a 9 are on the table the players can place a 4 or a 6 on the 5 and an 8 or a 10 on the 9. For this game numerical value is A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A. If a player can not place any cards on the table he draws cards from his deck until he can. Another version of the game makes it possible to play a card of the same value onto the table. This is called "doubles" or "playing with doubles".
Winning
A player wins when he gets rid of his entire hand."
